Experimental Determination of the Energy Provided by the Photovoltaic Panels Placed On The Roof of a Vehicle With An Imposed Route
The purpose of this paper is to present a practical solution for improving the performance of electric cars by placing photovoltaic panels on their roofs. The study is structured in two parts, namely the electrical energy obtained with the photovoltaic panel placed on the roof of a moving car on a imposed route, and the electrical energy obtained from a photovoltaic panel placed on the roof of the parked car. The study is carried out in Constanta, Romania. The obtained data show the importance of using photovoltaic panels placed on electric cars, in order to obtain clean, free and useful energy for extending the autonomy of the electric car.
