Determining the Parameters and Simulate Operation of the Synchronous Generators
The paper presents the determination of the parameters and the operation simulation of a low-power synchronous generator. The electrical parameters are determined using static experimental methods (DC decay test and Standstill Frequency Response (SSFR) test), using the d-q orthogonal mathematical model. The mechanical parameters are determined by the retardation test (self-braking method). The Matlab-Simulink program was used for numerical calculations and simulations, and the results obtained from the simulations were experimentally validated.
