Implementation of various DC-AC inverter control techniques in photovoltaic system with LCL filter
Analysis and develop of a 1MW three-phase microgrid-connected photovoltaic (PV) system with current control and LCL filter is the main purpose of this work. Proportional-Integral (PI), Slide, and MPC methods are the three proposed inverter approaches with associated LCL filters that are carried out and tested. The steady-state results obtained using these controlling techniques are sufficient to cover the grid and linked load requirements while maintaining unity power factor. The PI method's responses are all smooth, with low harmonic distortion. The sliding mode inverter control method produces higher output power levels than the PI and MPC techniques. The DC link voltage readings from MPC are also accurate and constant, matching the intended voltage values.
