Impedances matching network generation for magnetically coupled coils systems

The purpose of this paper is to analyze the influence of matching the input and output (I/O) impedances of the magnetically coupled coils used in wireless power transfer systems (WPTS) construction. Also, the influence on the input to load power transfer efficiency was studied. Since the system consisting of magnetically coupled coils (operating at resonance) with series - series (ss) connections - RCMSS - is the most efficient one (for emitter to load active power wireless transfer and for active power transfer efficiency) the paper presents, in detail, an efficient procedure for generating input and output impedances only for RCMSS. Through the simulations performed with various calculation programs, the values of the parameters (coils and capacitors) used in the construction of the matching circuits were accurately calculated.
